Cagliari is also interested in the Juventus forward: he could join the team in January

During the last summer transfer window, Juventus invested heavily to strengthen Luciano Spalletti’s squad, and despite failing to qualify for the Champions League—which results in lower revenue—the front office spent over 150 million euros.
Among the positions that have undergone the most significant changes is certainly the offense, where Dusan Vlahovic, Lois Openda, and Jonathan David left Turin to make room for Randal Kolo Muani, Nick Woltemade, and Jeff Ekhator. The latter has been particularly unlucky: he was injured in mid-July and has not yet had the chance to wear the black-and-white jersey.
Luciano Spalletti and Giovanni Carnevali are also considering loaning him out in January. The idea is to send him out on loan to allow him to continue his development by playing regularly, given the fierce competition at Juventus.
Parma immediately set their sights on Ekhator, and Genoa would be absolutely delighted to welcome him back—even if only for a few months—but in the last few hours, it appears that Cagliari has also made an inquiry. Fabio Pisacane wants another option up front and could take advantage of the opportunity.
Cagliari’s offense isn’t performing particularly well: the forwards are rotating, but aside from Paul Mendy’s two goals, no one else has found the back of the net yet. The Sardinian club owes a debt of gratitude above all to Daniel Maldini, who has scored four goals so far.
