After months of forced rest due to a knee injury, Jannik Sinner is finally ready to return to the court, and he’ll do so at the Six Kings Slam, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament won’t award ATP ranking points, but for the Italian, it’s an excellent opportunity to test his physical condition.
In recent months, countless tennis fans have missed Sinner, but in 2027, the South Tyrolean star will be back in action.

Rick Macci is also certain of this, and he shared a prediction on his X profile: “If Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz stay healthy, in 2027 we can expect the Spanish magician and the Italian flamethrower to likely battle for the title in every Grand Slam tournament, creating, as always, absolutely unmissable matches.”

“Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic were the BIG 3,” Macci continued. “Today, we’re still in the era of the BIG 2—Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner—with the possibility that Alexander Zverev could join them over the course of next year by taking another leap forward in his game.”

“The overall level of Carlos and Jannik—from the quality of their shots to their mental toughness under intense pressure—is still clearly superior to that of all the other players chasing them,” noted the former coach, who has also worked with Andy Roddick, Jennifer Capriati, Maria Sharapova, Serena, and Venus Williams.
