Gremio, Luis Suarez comes up with a hat trick
Three goals in just 38′ of play for Uruguayan striker
Suarez’s adventure with the Gremio jersey is off to the best possible start. The former Liverpool and Barcelona striker, among others, introduced himself to his new fans with a hat trick. In the Recopa Gaucha final, won by Gremio 4-1 against Sao Luiz, the Uruguayan scored three goals in the space of 38′ (all in the first half). A spectacular performance that confirms how Suarez still has the desire to make his mark.
Suarez had last scored his hat trick in a first-half match almost 10 years ago now (Liverpool-Norwich City, December 2013). “Luisito’s story here could not have started better,” the post on Gremio’s Twitter profile.
