Sebastian Vettel gives a hint about his next adventure
Having said goodbye to Formula 1, Sebastian Vettel may return to the wheel in the world of rallying. That’s what seeps out from the driver’s words in an interview granted to F1’s official website, “I’ve always liked it but it’s not my priority for now. It’s a totally different world to what I’m used to, it has nothing to do with Formula 1. In any case, we’ll see. I’ve spent so much time in F1 that it will be hard to say I won’t miss racing, when I do I’ll look around.”
The German champion continued, “In retirement I see an opportunity to learn a lot about myself and to put myself in a position I had never been in, of course it will take time to adapt. The truth is, after so many years, this work becomes part of our routine. I want to spend more time with my children, learn together with them, it will be a new challenge for me.”
“There are many other things in my head, many other ideas outside of racing. I don’t want to leave with any timetable, I don’t want to say I will start doing something in March or April. My intention is to figure out how I will adapt to this new life and make decisions accordingly,” Vettel concluded.
