Pini ready to return to Tezenis Verona

After moving in the summer of 2022 from Tezenis Verona to Pallacanestro Cantù, Giovanni Pini’s adventure with the Brianza-based team has already ended. “Pallacanestro Cantù communicates that it has consensually terminated the contract with the athlete Giovanni Pini. The club wishes Pini the best satisfactions for the continuation of his career,” reads the note released by the biancoblù club.

The long player, class of 1992, who also played with the jerseys of Fortitudo Bologna and Pallacanestro Reggiana among others, is ready to return to Verona after leaving it for the first time in 2017 and following promotion to the A1 series in 2022.

The agreement between the Verona club and the player has reportedly already been found. In fact, Pini would have preferred to return to his old team rather than move to Treviso, another interested club.
