Lorenzo Musetti loses ground to Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini
ATP ranking, Italians: Berrettini and Sonego go up, Musetti goes down
Jannik Sinner remains the best of the Italians in the ATP ranking, maintaining 13th position. After a first-round knockout in Santiago, however, Musetti loses three positions, dropping out of the top 20 (21st). Conversely, Berrettini moves back to 23rd position thanks to the quarterfinal reached in Acapulco. Sonego also did well, returning to the top 60 (he is precisely 60th) thanks to his performance in the Dubai tournament. The other Italians in the top 100 are Fognini (88th) and Cecchinato (91st).
Ahead of all, globally, always Novak Djokovic, on the podium with Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Also of note is Rafa Nadal, who collapses to ninth. In addition, given the injury and forfeit in Indian Wells and Miami, the Spaniard is set to drop out of the top 10 after almost 18 consecutive years.
