It is Norway’s Adrian Sejersted who wins the second timed run of the Soldeu men’s downhill with a time of 1’28″53. The slope was faster than in the first run because the salt pulled in overnight making the course harder. At 88 cents was Marco Schwarz, increasingly comfortable in the speed, while third at 1″01 was Vincent Kriechmayr. Fourth place went to Dominik Paris, 1″07 behind Sejersted, ahead of Canadian Cameron Alexander at 1″11. In sixth place was Mattia Casse, 1″22 behind the leader, while Florian Schieder, still learning, is 24th with 2″66.
The Specialty Cup is already awarded to Aleksander aamodt Kilde, but the game for second place between Kriechmayr and Odermatt remains open. Wednesday’s verdict.

“I feel better,” Casse said, “I came out of a pretty tough February both mentally and physically. I’m on the upswing, I feel good. Today I think everyone was surprised, because they were giving rain, instead we managed to complete two tests and now we see for the race. Two completely di verse days. In the upper part there are two bumps to keep a little bit at bay and then down here you have to be careful. Still, it was a good test.”

“The idea for the lines is there,” Paris said, “today the feelings are quite positive. Yesterday the snow was soft and did not give answers. There is a lot of wind, hopefully the race will be smooth and the conditions will be the same for everyone.”
