Virtus and Olimpia on Baskonia’s Darius Thompson

A few days after challenging each other on the court, Virtus and Olimpia could challenge each other off the court as well. In fact, as reported by the Spanish newspaper Encestando both the Red Shoes and the Black Vu’s are reportedly interested in Darius Thompson, a 1995 U.S. guard class author of a very positive season with the Baskonia jersey.

On the player, in addition, would also have set its eyes on Real Madrid, which would be evaluating several profiles to reinforce the guard rotation.

Thompson signed a 1+1 contract with the Spanish club in the summer and therefore could decide to get out of his contract and settle elsewhere.
