Red Bull, Marko blunt: “Max is simply uncontrollable.”

The second Gp of the F1 season gave another one-two to Red Bull further certifying the superiority of the Milton Keynes stable. However, the climate is not completely calm, especially between the two drivers, as Perez with the victory could have taken the lead in the world championship, but Verstappen thanks to the point of the fast lap denied him such joy. Team advisor Helmut Marko also spoke on this episode at the microphones of ORF.

“It is typical for Max to make the fastest lap on the last lap. He is simply uncontrollable, but we know he is like that in character. Both of them were constantly asking who had the point of the fastest lap, and Max waited until the last so that Sergio could not counter. All in all, we are very satisfied with the race,” the Austrian began.

“Before the race we already thought that Max would fight for the podium. However, there was no shortage of anxiety problems in the finale because he complained several times that he was suffering from vibrations,” Marko concluded about expectations on the Dutch driver.
