Pro League, the proposal to improve the quality of the fields

Marani’s proposal

“The turfs of Lega Pro absolutely must improve. An improvement of our playing facilities is necessary because we have to protect the technical gesture, the beauty of soccer, the athletes themselves, as well as those who invest in the ball. One idea to incentivize clubs could be to give an award to the most beautiful field.” Thus Lega Pro President Matteo Marani during the Executive Council meeting held at the Florentine headquarters of Serie C.

President Marani opened the council by congratulating Catanzaro on their promotion and welcoming Catania. Then an update was given on the permanent tables, which will officially begin their work in April dealing with: youth soccer, marketing and commercial, administration and finance, competitions and reforms, social communication and territory, infrastructure and local authorities.

It was also announced that the Pro League will soon go to create a working group dedicated to the licensing of audiovisual rights season 2023/24 and production.
