Cristiano Ronaldo does not fear the bench he might get in Portugal-Liechtenstein and avoids putting pressure on the Lusitanians’ new coach Roberto Martinez.

“I’ve been playing in the national team for 20 years, not one or two, and I’m ready for anything,” he tells Sport.tv. “It’s always a pride to be here, to play or not to play. It would be an insincere answer if I said I am not here to play, but I will respect the coach’s decisions.”

“Football has evolved a lot: today there are no easy opponents. Theoretically the next one is an accessible rival, but only at the end of the game we will see if it went well or not. But there is a good air and the players are motivated, this is the most important thing,” the champion added.
