MotoGp: Marc Marquez’s bad mistake, runs over Oliveira and is booed
Marc Marquez exaggerates braking and hits Aprilia centaur
Nasty accident at the start of the MotoGp Portuguese Grand Prix: on the third lap, Honda rider Marc Marquez exaggerated his braking and hit the Aprilia centaur Oliveira head-on, running him over when he was in second position.
Both riders, unharmed, are out of the race. The race commission noted the Catalan rider’s maneuver and could take action, such as penalizing the eight-time world champion in the next Grand Prix.

Marquez’s maneuver also affected the race of Ducati rider Jorge Martin, who ended up at the back of the pack to avoid falling. On leaving the track Marquez was booed by Portuguese fans, who dreamed of seeing Oliveira on the podium.
