Stumbris arrives in Trieste
Roberts Stumbris, a Latvian forward born in 1993, is the new reinforcement of Pallacanestro Trieste, which confirmed his arrival with a note released Friday on its official channels.
“The one with Stumbris was an agreement closed in 20 hours,” explained Mario Ghiacci, general manager of the Giuliana cosietà. “We had to react immediately to Hudson’s injury in order to guarantee the competitiveness of our roster and we didn’t waste any time.
“The player,” added the red-and-white executive, “will be available as early as Friday night’s training session and we hope he will be able to quickly fit into the team’s mechanisms.
