Serie B, Perugia-Reggina 1-3
Reggina expels Perugia’s ‘Curi’ 3-1 in the 29th Serie B matchday recovery, winning three crucial points in the playoffs.
It was not enough for the Grifone to take the lead, with the goal scored by Giuseppe Di Serio in the 24th minute: the amaranthos equalized with Hernani in the 38th minute and then completed the comeback in the second half, taking advantage of Stefano Gori’s unfortunate own-goal in the 47th minute and closing the match with Luigi Canotto, in goal in the 82nd minute.
In the standings, therefore, Reggina hooks Pisa in sixth place with 45 points, while Perugia remains in the playout zone at 34 points, two less than 15th-place Cittadella.
