Milan Skriniar has undergone surgery.
This was made known by Inter, the day after the surgery, as well as the match with Benfica.
The Slovak defender underwent endoscopic surgery on the lumbar spine at the “Clinique du Sport” in Merignac on Wednesday.”
“I want to send a hug to my teammates and thank them for the beautiful qualification to the Champions League semifinal and reassure everyone about my condition after the injury suffered in the first leg match against Porto,” Skriniar wrote on his Instagram account after the operation. Yesterday, in agreement with Inter, I underwent surgery in order to return to the field as soon as possible. I will follow a short rehabilitation in order to resume competitive activity.”
