After the Italian Cup, the renewal: the promise of Hakan Calhanoglu

After the trophy comes clarification on the future.

Hakan Calhanoglu intends to stay at Inter, as he clearly stated to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ in the immediate aftermath of the Coppa Italia final won by the Nerazzurri against Fiorentina.

“There are no secrets in that sense,” Calhanoglu said, “You also know that I am very happy to be at Inter, and it has been like that since day one. To feel so loved by all our people is an unexplainable feeling, I prefer to live it. And on the renewal we are already in agreement and very close. I am happy to continue my dream here.”

Calhanoglu then added how winning the Coppa Italia gives further strength to the Inter group ahead of the Champions League final against Manchester City. “Of course it does. We have always played the finals well, and we know they are the favorites. We, however, will give everything, I want to raise that cup. Also because we will play in my country and it will be an extra emotion for me,” the Turk concluded.
