Voigtmann charmed in Game 1: 22 points with 5/5 from three

Milan started the series with Sassari with a great victory (95-72). One of the big stars of the white-and-red success was Voigtmann, who scored an impressive 22 points (11 in the first 3′ of the game). The long German scored five triples on as many attempts.

After so many months in which he seemed a mystery object, Voigtmann is beginning to make a difference. In the postgame of the challenge with Sassari, compliments also came from Coach Messina: “He’s definitely done well, but he’s been playing the way he knows for a couple of months now. He seems to me to be settling in. He shot with very good percentages and also did well under the basket.”
