Lionel Messi, farewell to Psg is official

Christophe Galtier made the now predictable announcement, “I had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of soccer. The one with Clermont at the Parc des Princes will be Messi’s last game with Paris Saint Germain.”
“In the first season he had to adapt, it was his first time away Barcelona. This year he has been an important element,” added the transalpine coach. “I find the criticism not at all justified, in a year with the World Cup he has incredible statistics, 21 goals and 22 assists I think, and he has always been at the service of the team. I repeat it was a great privilege not to coach him but to accompany him.”
Messi, who has also been approached by Barcelona, could go on to end his career in Saudi Arabia, like his longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
