F1, Carlos Sainz doesn’t budge ahead of qualifying
Friday’s free practice session at the Montmelo GP ended with Max Verstappen dominating. More distant, however, in both sessions, one of the home favorites Carlos Sainz, who finished ninth and seventh, respectively. On his feelings ahead of the weekend, the person concerned expressed himself to the microphones of the various media.
“We had a lot of new parts to test today on the car and so we engaged in several set-up changes to analyze the differences between the various components over the course of the two sessions. We were able to test all three compounds so I would say it was a positive day. I don’t want to make any predictions ahead of qualifying, but I think today’s preparation will be very useful for us throughout the rest of the weekend,” said the Ferrari driver as can be read on “FormulaPassion.”
Afterwards Carlos Sainz took it upon himself to send special thanks to the many fans present at the circuit: “I would like to thank all the people who were in the stands today. It was great to see so many supporters already on Friday.”
