Italy closes week 2 of the Volleyball Nations League with three wins, respectively with Iran, China and Serbia, all by 3-0, and one loss, with Poland by 3-1, for a total of 9 points won that bring Italy to seventh position in the Volleyball Nations League standings with 5 wins and 15 points, ahead of the last week of the preliminary phase, scheduled for July 4-8 at the MOA Arena in Pasay City, Philippines against Brazil, Canada, Slovenia and Japan.
It will be a crucial week in terms of qualifying for the Final8 in Gdansk to which the top eight in the standings will qualify at the end of week 3.
The Azzurri returned to Rome Fiumicino airport this morning and will have a few days of rest before returning to work.
