Inter, Marotta clarifies on Frattesi and Brozovic
The stalemate in negotiations for Marcelo Brozovic’s transfer to Saudi Arabia is stalling Inter’s incoming market. CEO Beppe Marotta on the sidelines of the opening of the summer soccer market spoke about the situation this way, “It is clear that this offer has arrived… I can say that who decides is not the club but it is always the player. The phenomenon of Arab soccer has suddenly exploded. What is happening in the market today risks altering the competitiveness of the soccer system. We have to be careful about this ease of spending.”
Marotta also commented on one of the Nerazzurri’s market targets, Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi: “It’s not easy because Giovanni Carnevali is very good and knows how to juggle these things very well. He has not received all the proposals yet, so Frattesi’s price keeps going up,” are the words reported by tuttomercatoweb.
