Inter, another bomber fades: now two names remain
Inter is giving up the track for Folarin Balogun. According to rumors reported by Sportmediaset, the Nerazzurri club has decided to abandon the race for Arsenal’s U.S. striker, and has reportedly already notified the player and the London club.
The more than 40 million demanded by the Gunners is too much: the Biscione has turned to cheaper profiles, and has accelerated negotiations because it wants to give Simone Inzaghi another important strike in attack before the start of the championship. Sportmediaset reports.
The two profiles still on the table have different characteristics and costs: the low-cost option leads to Marko Arnautovic. The Austrian player is eager to return to the Nerazzurri, but Bologna at the moment is cold to the €4 million offer made by the Inter directors and would like something more. Arnautovic’s arrival would guarantee an additional blow in defense.
The second option is a much larger investment: the Iranian Porto striker Mehdi Taremi. The player is valued at 30 million euros by the Dragoons; Inter would like to close around 27 million, including bonuses. This would be an international-level coup, although in January Taremi will be away for six months because of the Asian Cup.
