Hamilton case, new note from FIA
Hamilton case, new FIA note
During last week’s Qatar Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton walked across the track after the incident with teammate George Russell. The FIA has issued a new note regarding the case: "The FIA noted Hamilton’s apology in the subsequent interview with stewards in connection with the incident, in which he acknowledged that it was è a serious safety violation".
"In any case, by virtue of Hamilton’s model status, the FIA è concerned about the impact that his behaviors may have created on younger drivers" reads the write-up.
Lewis Hamilton è has already been sanctioned with a 50'000 euro fine (half of which he will pay as a suspended penalty should he make a similar gesture again by the end of the season) and a reprimand, the first of his 2023.
