MotoGp Silverstone: Johann Zarco mocks all and takes pole, two Ducatis on front row
Just over half a second between first and tenth on the grid
Johann Zarco will start from pole position in the MotoGp-class British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit. The Frenchman of Ducati Pramac was ahead of everyone thanks to a time of 1:57.767, at the end of a very balanced final session that saw Maverick Viñales confirm his progress on the Aprilia and take second and Jack Miller get the third fastest time on the Ducati.
Fifth, and best of the Italians, Pecco Bagnaia on the other official Rossa. Seventh instead was Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46), who will start ahead of Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini Racing). Tenth is Bezzecchi’s teammate, Luca Marini, whose gap from the author of the pole is only 550 thousandths.
