Cagliari, contacts for an exchange with Spezia
Filed the fundamental victory against Bologna, Cagliari continues the hunt for an attack reinforcement on the market, accomplice to the injury emergency. Mister Ranieri, in fact, can only count on two role strikers at the moment: Pavoletti and Petagna. Lapadula, Shomurodov and Oristanio are in the pits due to injury, while Luvumbo will not be available because he is engaged in the African Cup of Nations.
The island club has set its sights on Spezia striker Daniele Verde, who, according to reports from 'Il Corriere dello Sport' has reportedly already expressed his liking for the Sardinian destination. To get to Verde, the Rossoblù management has offered an equal exchange with former Elio Capradossi, a central defender class '96.
A solution, however, not liked by the La Spezia club, and in particular by coach D'Angelo, who expressed his desire for reinforcements 'ready' while Capradossi è back from an injury and has not yet played a single minute with the Cagliari shirt this season. New contacts between the two clubs are expected in the coming hours to find an understanding.
The soccer market window will end on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m., with the classic closing of the doors, often the subject of rather embarrassing scenes, which will take place at the Sheraton hotel in Milan. So there are still more than two weeks left for domestic clubs to improve the staff available to their coaches.
