Official: Elayis Tavsan è a new player of Hellas Verona
After numerous disposals, Hellas Verona places an important incoming blow. The Verona club, in fact, through a statement on its official accounts, has announced the outright purchase of Elayis Tavsan, a Dutch forward class 2001 from NEC Nijmegen.
"Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired – outright – from NEC Nijmegen the sports performance of Dutch striker Elayis Tavsan.
Born in Rotterdam on April 30, 2001, the Dutch striker è grew up footballingly in the Youth Sector of his hometown team, namely Sparta Rotterdam. With the red and white club, he made his first-team debut in an Eerste Divise match during the 2018/19 season, the Dutch second division, in a match that later ended in a 1-1 draw right against NEC. The following season he moved to Telstar, a formation that also plays in the Eerste Divise, and with which he played 22 matches, scoring 7 goals.
The 2020/21 season è that of the final transition to the NEC Nijmegen jersey. In this season the club, based in the city of Nijmegen, plays in the Eerste Divise and during the championship Tavsan takes the field on 38 occasions and scores 11 goals, helping the team gain promotion to the Eredivise. Over the next two seasons, the Dutch striker's appearances in the NEC jersey total 62 (30 in the 2021/22 season and 32 in the 2022/23 season) and goals total 8 (5 and 3). During the current sports season, Tavsan has played 8 matches and scored 2 goals.
The new Gialloblù striker also boasts appearances with the Dutch national team representatives, from the Under-17 to the Under-21. Hellas Verona FC extends warm greetings to Elayis, wishing him a future in the Gialloblù jersey; full of satisfaction, personal and team" this is the note issued by the Verona club.
As for the exits, however, Verona could also say goodbye to Milan Djuric in this market session, as there would be strong interest on the Bosnian footballer from Monza.
