F1 Red Bull, Horner sneers at Wolff: “When he slams headphones to the ground…”
Red Bull team principal Horner: “It’s easy to provoke Wolff, it showed last year.”
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner in an interview with Sky Sports Uk spoke about his relationship with Toto Wolff, which he described as problematic is an understatement: “It’s easy to provoke Toto, I have nothing personal against him and he did a phenomenal job in Mercedes. He came to F1 following a very different path from mine, more on the financial side. I find it easy to hit the nail on the head with him, we saw that in 2021.”
Last season for the first time the Mercedes boss got into trouble, even losing the “media” battle against his colleague: “When you see people slamming headphones on the ground or having other such reactions it means you hit the mark. For the first time he was involved in such an intense fight, and it is interesting to see how people react in these situations. Who is the best? It is not for me to judge, what is certain is that I don’t have to worry about how my figure is seen or painted of the outside. What I have to do is to do the best job I can for all the people I represent.”
