Saudi Pro League, Karim Benzema is still a case
The former Real Madrid star è trained alone in Jeddah for several days
At the moment, Benzema's adventure in Saudi Arabia has not è been positive. The Ballon d'Or è is grappling with several problems. First and foremost, as reported by Marca, he is experiencing a difficult relationship with Gallardo, the Al-Ittihad coach. The Argentine coach has not forgiven Benzema's delay in showing up at the team’s training camp. In fact, the former Real Madrid player è trained alone, for several days, in Jeddah.
A clarifying meeting between the two has not è been scheduled but, if Benzema will want to return to play with the team, it seems incumbent. The'alternative è change. A return to Europe seems decidedly unlikely. With just hours to go before the market closes in so many countries, moving a star like Benzema è far from easy and the Saudi Pro League would see his return to Europe as a failure.
Not to be ruled out, however, is the possibility that he could change teams within the Saudi Pro League. PIF, the Arab investment fund that controls several clubs in the top division of Saudi soccer, could "move" Benzema to another club but time is running out. The market ends in a few hours and a decision needs to be made quickly to make the switch.
