NBA, Devin Booker equals a Wilt Chamberlain record

Third race with at least 50 points against New Orleans

Booker è in NBA history, alongside a legend like Chamberlain. In the showdown against the Pelicans, won by the Suns 124-111, the Phoenix all-star scored a whopping 52 points. It was the third time he has scored at least 50 points against the Pelicans in his career. The only one to do so before him è was the legendary Chamberlain himself.

"Whenever your name è juxtaposed with Wilt’s (Chamberlain, ed.), and è it has happened a few times in my career, it means you have done something special", the words of Booker himself reported by ESPN. In addition to the 52 points on the night, Booker had scored 58 points in the Dec. 17, 2022, challenge, in Phoenix, and 52 in last Jan. 19, in New Orleans.

In the other games, Boston’s win over Charlotte (118-104, 25 points for both Tatum and Hauser) while Memphis won, in a sprint, over Detroit (110-108, Fontecchio absent). Indiana also did well: 113-111 over Brooklyn. Orlando, in a photo finish, ruled Portland (104-103, final mistake by Ayton). Finally, Atlanta got the better of the encounter with Chicago: 113-101 the final.
