Olimpia Milano: the combinations to clinch a spot in the play-in

The Red and White are engaged, at the Forum, with Virtus Bologna already qualified

Only a miracle could allow Olimpia Milano to grab a spot in the Euroleague play-in. The AX, tonight (ball at 8:30 p.m.), will challenge Virtus Bologna, the latter already certain of a place in the play-in, in a sold-out Forum. The Red and White are forced to win with the Black Vs and also the last match in Israel next Thursday against Maccabi. However, even winning the last two matches would not secure the pass.

At the moment, complicit with the misstep on the Zalgiris court, Olimpia è 12th in the standings with a record of 14 won and 18 lost. In 10th position is Efes (15-17), followed by Partizan, which, thanks to its success over Alba Berlin, has climbed to 15 wins and 18 losses, so one more win than the Milanese but also with one more game played.

At this point, in order to hope not to be eliminated, Olimpia Milano, in addition to winning the last two games, has to hope that Partizan loses the last home game with Valencia and that Efes falls at least once in the next two outings with Fenerbahce (today) and Red Star (next Friday).
