"Sì I expected him to get to this level. Everyone knew he had a lot of talent but è he was always a reserved guy and his quietness made it so that he was not in a hurry. He was a predestined and è a certainty today".
Taking a step back, the brindisi beauty recalled the South Tyrolean's January triumph: "It's exciting to see the Australian Open final won in a comeback. It was a joy for tennis and made me relive old emotions".
