Vanessa Ferrari will not want toà in Paris for the upcoming Olympics. A calf injury, suffered during a training session in preparation for the Absolutes, cuts off the legendary Italian gymnast. It was announced by Ferrari herself via a long video posted on her social channels.

"My path to Paris 2024 ends here – wrote the Tokyo 2020 silver medalist -. Yesterday, in the gymnasium, during the test ahead of next week’s all-around, in the take-off of a jump, my calf gave". The gymnast wrote these words publishing them along with the video of the incident, which leaves no doubt about the severity of the incident".

"Missing a month to the Olympics, there are no timelines to recover a muscle injury – added the Italian champion -. Despite the fact that I have been battling with various discomforts since December, at the technical level I was very well. Unfortunately forò the finiscus did not hold up.
