Ferrari, Vasseur disappointed: "C'è frustration"
Carlos Sainz's unhoped-for podium saved at least part of Ferrari’s weekend in Austria. After the races, Maranello team principal Frederic Vasseur expressed his feelings: "It's a good result to get on the podium, and overall it's not a bad weekend as far as the standings are concerned, there&#rsquo;s some frustration, because along the weekend we were in a position to do a better job and get a better result".
"We had that problem with engine temperatures with Charles in the sprint. In qualifying and also in the race there were a couple of opportunities to do a better job. Overall è it was still a good result for the team this’day. We have to be ambitious and look forward, we have to develop what we have been doing forò a better job than this weekend".
"Now we focus for Silverstone. It will beà a normal weekend, and that means we will have two sessions on Friday to take good care of the car’s setup. We need to improve and focus on the future by developing from what we achieved today. The’last package brought good points in terms of aerodynamics, and we have to start from here".
Leclerc è was penalized by a contact with Perez at the start: "Charles’s accident è was a race accident, he was on the same line with Perez and Piastri, but I have to say that I focused more on the race, I didn’t review the accident, but I have the feeling that he was in between the two".
