Wimbledon: Anna Kalinskaya-Ljudmila Samsonova 7-6 6-2
Anna Kalinskaya's adventure at Wimbledon continues. The Russian tennis player, in fact, has è imposed herself on compatriot Ljudmila Samsonova with a score of 7-6 6-2, detaching the pass for the round of 16 of the tournament.
The first set è was very balanced and neither player è managed to place the decisive breakthrough. In the tie-break, however, it was the 1998 class who was more incisive and won the first set 7-4, under the eyes of her fiancé Jannik Sinner, who followed her partner’s match from the stands.
In the second set, the è inertia definitely shifted to the side of Kalinskaya, who upped the tempo by flying away in the score at 5-2. In the eighth game, the world number 17, after missing the first two match points, concretized the third one closing the score.
In the round of 16, Jannik Sinner’s partner will face the winner of the match between Ons Jabbeur and Elena Svitolina.
