Hakan Calhanoglu, via Instagram, sent a message to all Turkey fans after the elimination against the Netherlands: "Our dreams were limitless, but unfortunately, no matter how hard we tried, these dreams ended yesterday. We set out on this road to try and make them feel the feelings that we missed so much. It was also important to remember how beautiful we were when we came together to achieve the same goal".

"I think we achieved it as a country. Let this tournament be remembered as a milestone for us in the future. All we have to do now è continue to work together and ensure that Turkish soccer continues to exist in the places it deserves".
