Wimbledon, Taylor Fritz outspoken about Lorenzo Musetti
After his fifth-set victory over Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz put his next opponent, Lorenzo Musetti, in his sights. The U.S. tennis player identified a key aspect of his upcoming challenge against the Azure: "The key è serving and responding well. If I do those two things well, he will have ò my opportunities ".
"Luckily for me, in the next match hypothetically it should be easier than today to answer the serve than Zverev, but it will be difficult becauseé Musetti has played very well so far, and è made it to the final at Queen's".
"The other times I made it to the quarterfinals in a Slam I played twice against Novak and once against Rafa…. I hope these experiences will help me a little bit'. Musetti è improved so much off clay in the’last year".
Fritz then advised extending the season on grass: "I think there should be a Masters 1000 on grass. We have specialists on every surface and this è an important part of the year. People love the grass season. Whyé not add a Masters 1000? I think the performance of the players in this part of the season should be valued more in the rankings", are the words reported by tennisworlditalia.
