Euroleague: double French commitment for Olimpia Milano, first challenge against Melli in November
Olimpia Milano's schedule for the 2024-2025 Euroleague season
The Euroleague has released the official calendar for the 2024-2025 regular season. Olimpia Milano will make its debut on Oct. 4 away against Mike James's AS Monaco. While, the following week the meneghini will face in their first home game of the season (Oct. 11) the newly promoted Paris Basketball, a team that won the Eurocup.
In the first two doubleheaders, Ettore Messina’s team will face off against Olympiacos and Baskonia on the road and Zalgris and Virtus Bologna at home. In early November, the Red Shoes will receive European vice champions Real Madrid before facing off against Alba Berlin and Partizan Belgrade in a doubleheader away from home. At the end of November, Milan will pay a visit to Fenerbahce of former captain Nicolò Melli.
In the final phase of the first leg, then, Olimpia will be awaited by complicated away games against Barcelona and defending champion Panathinaikos. In the return leg, the most anticipated challenge will be the one on March 6 at home with Fenerbahce, which will see the return to Milan by Nic Melli and Devon Hall.
As for the derby with Virtus Bologna, the first confrontation will be at the Forum d'Assago on Oct. 31, while on April 4 there will be the return match at the Segafredo Arena valid for the penultimate day of the Euroleague.
