F1, Hungary GP: Carlos Sainz ahead of everyone in the first free practice
Ferrari, equipped with a new bottom, è immediately starred at the Hungarian Grand Prix. At the Hungaroring, in fact, Carlos Sainz finished ahead of everyone in the first free practice session by signing the best time of 1'18"713. Third place for his teammate Charles Leclerc, almost three tenths distant.
Between the two Red Reds was the revolutionized Red Bull of Max Verstappen, who finished in second place. Fourth place went to the Mercedes of George Russell, who trimmed a tenth and a half off teammate Lewis Hamilton, only tenth. Guanyu Zhou’s Kick Sauber surprisingly closed the top 5.
The McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri place sixth and seventh respectively, separated by only 38 thousandths. In eighth place is the Racing Bulls of Yuki Tsundoda, ahead of Lance Stroll's Aston Martin, ninth. Finally, as mentioned, Hamilton rounds out the top 10.
