Kimi Antonelli’s Triumph in the Feature Race at the Hungaroring

After the success in the Sprint Race at Silverstone, for Kimi Antonelli è came the first victory in a Feature Race d Formula 2, at the’Hungaroring.

Thanks to the safety car and great overtaking, the super talent from Bologna of the Prema team made the most of the soft tires and redeemed a disappointing Sprint Race held yesterday, in which he had been fourteenth.

Behind Antonelli, who è a driver in the Mercedes orbit and who will turn 18 on Aug. 25, came Frenchman Victor Martins of the’ART Grand Prix, at 12”528, and Dutchman Richard Verschoor of the Trident team, at 13”355.

The second overall poleman, Estonian Paol Aron, on lap 8 è collided with Zane Maloney, of Barbados, and had to retire. The championship leader, rancese Isack Hadjar, è finished 18th. Antonelli è sixth with 55 points behind.
