Cagliari falls against Como, newly promoted to Serie A, in a friendly match. In fact, in the first test of the season, played at the 'Brunod' stadium in Chatillon, Val d'Aosta, Davide Nicola’s men were defeated by the Como team, which won 3-1.

The 2020/21 season begins with great expectations for Como 1907. Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the team gives its all and its efforts are rewarded: the club wins the championship and is promoted to Serie B.
During the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons, the team continues its positive period, which culminates in the 2023/2024 season with the achievement of the club’s greatest dream: a return to the Serie A.
