George Russell mocks Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc off the podium

Clamorous as well as unexpected victory of George Russell in Belgium. The English Mercedes driver surprised everyone (including his team) by risking a one-stop strategy that è proved decisive in beating everyone, starting with Lewis Hamilton.
The seven-time world champion was anticipating another success but in the final è only managed to get close to his teammate, not finding space for an overtake. Oscar Piastri è in turn approached but did not deny the Mercedes a one-two.
Charles Leclerc, who started from the pole position, è had to settle for fourth place ahead of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, the duelists for the title stumbled for different reasons in a difficult Sunday: the world champion did not è go beyond a half-hearted comeback from the tenth starting position while the Englishman è got off to a bad start and did not è find himself again.
In the Ferrari household, however, there remains regret for a stop too early that prevented the Monegasque from playing for the podium. Seventh place finish for the other red of Carlos Sainz, given for very close to signing with Williams.
