De Giorgi calls for more effort
De Giorgi calls for more effort;
Ferdinando De Giorgi, the head coach of the Italian men’s national volleyball team, comments on his boys’ success with Egypt.
"The biggest difficulties were due to the’adaptation due to the time of day, but the boys were good at keeping the level of concentration high, constant – he says -. We will however now continue to work on some technical aspects that need to be improved. Now we are waiting for the’last match with Poland who è really a’very good team that I certainly do not discover".
"Compared to Brazil and Poland Egypt has something less but when you go into the game with the wrong mentality some games can ruin everything. We, on the other hand, played the game we had to play, without drops in concentration and not underestimating our opponent" explains Simone Giannelli instead.
"Now we are definitely in a good ranking position, but nothing è has been done. Our thoughts must go immediately to’the last match with the Poles; a match that can’give us good indications about our level" adds the captain.
