In today's day so far there are two medals won by Italy, both gold and both with Brescia native athletes: Giovanni De Gennaro in men's kayak slalom canoe and Alice Bellandi in women's judo 78 kg category. The total of the Italian expedition è of 15 medals, 5 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze.
