Americans scooped up. Morocco dominated the match against the United States from start to finish, clinching a place in the semifinals of the 2024 Olympics. In a splendid atmosphere at the Parc des Princes, the North Africans won 4-0.
The Lions of the Atlas ended the first half on the slightest lead: Soufiane Rahimi (29’) è scored on a penalty awarded after a foul in the box by Nathan Harriel.
In the second half, Morocco went on the rampage: Ilias Akhomach scored the doubling goal (63’), Achraf Hakimi put his name on the scoreboard (70’), as did El Mehdi Maouboub by converting a new penalty kick.
