Jannik Sinner è has been "simpsonized" for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics in the new pop mural by aleXsandro Palombo that with his ironic stroke celebrates the world tennis champion who renounced the Olympics and who these days è was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Montreal Masters 1000.

The artist&#39s new work appeared this morning in Milan just hours before the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, an ironic parody in which Sinner becomes the protagonist of the handover to the 2028 games to be held in Los Angeles, the city of dreams, Hollywood cinema and home of the Simpson Studios.

The mural è was made on the front door of the prestigious Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa, where Sinner began his career at the age of 15 at the Bonfiglio International Trophy, the fifth most important junior tournament in the world that the club has organized for 64 years. Sinner participated twice as a junior through wild cards, reaching the quarterfinals in 2018 at age 16. The Bonfiglio Trophy è an important event awaited by young promises from around the world, just think that all the big names have passed through here, from Federer, Djokovic to Carlos Alcaraz.

In the mural Sinner appears on the side of the entrance door of the Milan Tennis Club with his racket in hand as he trains with Homer and makes the victory gesture, on his T-shirt there’è the words "LA 2028" with the five circles symbolizing the Olympics made from donuts, the famous American fried doughnuts covered with frosting and colored sprinkles so beloved by Homer Simpson, who in the artwork appears on the other side of the door engaged in eating the tennis balls thrown at him by the world number one tennis player.
