On the occasion of the celebration of the gold medal won at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Novak Djokovic è spoke bluntly about his future and the possibility of also representing Serbia at the Los Angeles 2026 Olympics.

"I will tryò to get to Los Angeles 2026. I would really like to. To be able to represent Serbia at the Olympic Games è the greatest pleasure for me" began the Serbian tennis player as reported by the British newspaper "Daily Express".

"The triumph in Paris è the realization of my childhood dream, the pressure to win the gold was enormous, because I won more or less everything and I was only missing the achievement in the Olympics. Now I feel accomplished, complete. We can celebrate" added Novak Djokovic.

Meanwhile, the Belgrade native has decided not to take part in the Cincinnati Masters 1000, thus giving up his title defense. The Serbian tennis player will makeà his return to the court directly at the US Open, where he will tryà to win the 25th career slam and regain the top of the ATP Ranking by ousting Jannik Sinner.
