A new libero for Vero Volleyball Milan, arrives the Japanese Satomi Fukudome: the libero class '97 è immediately available to coach Stefano Lavarini and has already met and started working with new teammates.

Born in Kyoto, Fukudome began her volleyball adventure in schools: at age 16, she played her first official season at Kyoto Tachibana High School, where she stayed for three seasons. In 2016, she continued to combine her sports and academic careers by wearing the jersey of Ryukoku University, an Athenaeum in central Kyoto.

After four years, he moved just over 150 km east to the city of Nishio and joined the roster of the Denso Airybees, taking part in the Japanese top league. Now for the first time in her career, she faces the Tigotà A1 Series with the jersey of Vero Volley Milano and will share the role with French Gelin, also the new face of the Consortium’s first women’s team.
