Lazio, Boulaye Dia and Samuel Gigot show up

This is how Boulaye Dia, Lazio’s new striker, who arrived from Salernitana and called it "a new stage in his career" for which "he has no regrets".

"You know the greatness of Lazio, for everyone è an important step to improve – said Dia -. Here you play against the best teams. It matters to score a lot of goals, a striker is judged by that, we have to do our best without thinking about who è been here before us".

On the number of goals, he does not set a goal becauseé "it would mean setting limits", while on the goal under the North Curve he added: “È it was wonderful to score right away, then even moreé nice to do it at home".

Dia concluded by talking about the pressures of playing for Lazio and his goal at Roma when he played for Salernitana: "I don’t feel the burden of being an important player, we all are, we all have responsibilities. The goal at Roma è was nice, but è it was unpleasant because é on that occasion I was also injured (laughs, ed.)".

Also at the press conference was the’other new signing Samuel Gigot, a defender who arrived in the summer: "The’primary goal è to get in shape as quickly as possible. When Lazio called me, I immediately thought of going thereì è a great team and I always followed it becauseé I also played with Marusic".

Speaking about what convinced him to come to Lazio he then replied: "With Guendouzi I talked a lot, especially in the last few days. He did not have to convince me, I just needed a push. In Marseille we all learned that you have to give everything and we will do that here".

Inevitable question about the derby. "To score at Roma? È the first thing I thought about – said Gigot -. I know that è an important match and it only matters to win it, for the fans è life".
