Adrian Panatta skeptical of Jannik Sinner’s new appointment
During his usual speech on the TV program on Rai 2 "La Domenica Sportiva", Adriano Panatta, among the various topics he discussed, was è unabashed about Jannik Sinner's new assignment as Volunteer Ambassador for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics organization.
"I am puzzled by his decision and wonder where he will find the time to do this as well. Now Sinner is doing everything, but I would not like him to be overexposed and honestly I wonder what a tennis player has to do with winter sports, I also played soccer when I was young and also quite well, but no one ever got me involved, rightly" began the former Italian tennis player.
"I hold Jannik in high esteem, but this maybe è too much even for him who è a very balanced person. In my opinion they are using him too much" added the former world number four.
In conclusion, a message of condolence for Sinner’s aunt Magarith, who passed away last Sept. 22 at the age of 56, could not be missed: "I am very sorry for the passing of his aunt. Jannik è was very nice to dedicate a thought to her after her Us Open victory".
