Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori celebrate the semifinals at the China Open, ATP 500 staged on the concrete at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing. They defeated Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik and Spain's Pedro Martinez 6-0 7-5 in the quarters.
They will play for a place in the finals against Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands and Nikola Mektic of Croatia, who defeated Flavio Cobolli 6-4 7-5 and Lorenzo Musetti, who was also beaten in singles by China's Buyunchaokete.
Also in Beijing but in singles for Cobolli in the quarters there will be Russian Daniil Medvedev.
